Do not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how Soma affects you. • Remember that alcohol can add to the drowsiness caused by Soma. DIETARY INSTRUCTIONS: Soma may cause an upset stomach. Take Soma with food or milk. SIDE EFFECTS : Soma may cause stomach upset, heartburn, headache, dizziness or drowsiness. If these symptoms persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. DRUG INTERACTIONS : Tell your doctor of all over-the-counter and prescription medication you may take including: sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, narcotic pain relievers, medication for depression, certain antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine). Many cough-and-cold products contain antihistamines which can cause drowsiness. Check labels carefully and consult your pharmacist if you have any questions.
